A gold party is nothing more than a similar gathering with a slight difference. At a gold party, the guests are there to sell not buy. The host actually makes money by hosting a party. If you are the host or hostess of a gold party, you will receive a cash incentive for bringing together a group of your friends and neighbors who have old jewelry and other objects made of gold that they would like to sell for the items’ gold content. We analyze the gold content of your guest’s scrap jewelry, i.e., the karat weight, 14kt, 18kt, and make them an offer by the pennyweight (dwt.) for their gold. (Note: We don’t buy jewelry, just the gold) If they accept our offer, we pay you in two ways. First, you will receive 10% of the gross sales made at the party PLUS $15 for each guest who sells more than $100 and $50 for each guest who sells more than $1000.
